Wi...Hi H & J, hope the training's going ok. With regards the query the following is a suggested route:
From the top of Sugar Loaf follow the suggested route for 'Bronze' (see Bronze' web page) until grid ref. 289183. Then head SE to 'Coldblow', follow the track which becomes a road. At the junction with the main road (GR302177) turn left to 'The Crown' pub and checkpoint (GR 302179). Cross the road (heading east) and follow the track passed 'Lower House Farm', crossing the railway (GR309177), the A465 (GR312177) and eventually reaching an unclassified road (GR314176). Turn left (heading north) and follow the road for nearly 3km to Llwynfranc chackpoint (GR332192). Then follow the public right of way to the top of Skirrid Fawr. Hope this helps!

A more scenic route is to go NE off Sugar Loaf towards the car park at GR293202 then around the base of the north end of Bryn Arw (or you can go over if you're feeling energetic) to Bryn Arw Farm (GR306206). Follow the bridleway to Lower Stanton (GR315210). Where the bridleway joins an unclassified road turn left (north) then at the junction with the main road turn right (east) to Llanvihangel Crucorney. Then follow the 'Marches Way' to Llanvihangel Court (GR307204). From Llanvihangel Court continue to follow the 'Marches Way' SE to the top of Skirrid Fawr. This is over 2km longer than the official route which is why the less scenic route is chosen for the Three Peaks Trial.Three Peaks Trial Challenge Walkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12872338442085376643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333529205231926604.post-70629364204581013062009-12-30T19:12:44.646+00:002009-12-30T19:12:44.646+00:00Hi everyone,
